Resistance to sulphuric acid is particularly exceptional but Alloy 400 C-Channel shows useful resistance in phosphoric acid, nitric acid as well as in chloride environments. With good general corrosion properties, Alloy 400 H-Beam usage has expanded in chemical, petrochemical, and power generation plants.
